Description

The Generac 10kW Air-Cooled Home Standby Generator Model 7257 is designed to provide automatic backup power for your home during a power outage. It helps keep essential appliances, lighting, and household systems running when utility power is interrupted. Its compact design, reliable performance, and remote monitoring features make it a practical solution for homeowners looking for dependable standby power.

Powered by a Generac G-Force 400 engine, this generator delivers up to 10,000 watts of standby power when operating on natural gas or liquid propane. Its air-cooled design helps manage engine temperature during operation, while electronic fuel and ignition controls help improve fuel efficiency. The unit starts automatically when a power outage is detected, provided it is installed with a compatible automatic transfer switch.

Built-in cellular connectivity allows you to monitor generator performance through Generac Mobile Link. You can check operating status and receive maintenance alerts remotely. The Power Zone 200 controller provides operating information, while the oil-level sensor helps monitor oil levels to support reliable operation.

The weather-resistant aluminum enclosure is designed for outdoor installation and helps protect internal components from the elements. Its sloped roof and rear air intake help reduce the risk of snow and ice entering the unit. Designed for residential backup power, the Generac 7257 offers convenient monitoring and dependable performance when your home needs additional power.
