Generac 14kW Home Standby Generator 7258

The Generac 14kW Home Standby Generator Model 7258 is designed to provide automatic backup power for your home during power outages. It runs on natural gas or liquid propane, helping keep essential household systems and appliances operating when utility power is interrupted. Its permanently installed design provides a convenient backup power solution without the need to manually set up a portable generator during an emergency.

Powered by the Generac G-Force 800 Series engine, this generator delivers 14,000 watts of standby power. Its air-cooled design and aluminum enclosure are built for outdoor installation. Electronic fuel and ignition controls help improve fuel efficiency, while the integrated oil-level monitoring system helps maintain generator readiness.

Built-in cellular connectivity allows you to monitor generator performance remotely through Generac Mobile Link. The system can provide operating updates and maintenance alerts, with some features requiring a premium subscription. Improved cold-start performance and a sloped roof design help the generator operate in challenging weather conditions.

The generator is designed to start automatically when a compatible transfer switch detects a utility power failure. Professional installation is required, including proper electrical connections, fuel supply, and compliance with local codes. The transfer switch and installation equipment should be confirmed before purchase, as they may not be included with this model.
