Generac Guardian 22kW Standby Generator 200A Switch 7043

The Generac Guardian 22kW Standby Generator Model 7043 is designed to provide automatic backup power for homes during unexpected power outages. It runs on natural gas or liquid propane (LP), helping keep essential household systems, lighting, refrigerators, and other appliances operating when utility power is interrupted. The package includes a 200-amp automatic transfer switch for convenient backup power management.

Powered by Generac’s G-Force 1000 engine, this air-cooled generator delivers up to 22,000 watts on liquid propane and 19,500 watts on natural gas. True Power™ technology provides clean, stable electricity with less than 5% total harmonic distortion, making it suitable for sensitive electronics and modern household appliances.

The included 200-amp smart transfer switch automatically detects a power outage and transfers the home to generator power. Its load-management features can help manage multiple air-conditioning units and other large electrical loads when properly configured.

Built-in Mobile Link Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to monitor generator status and receive maintenance alerts through a compatible device. The Evolution™ controller features a multilingual LCD display, while Quiet-Test™ mode runs the generator at a lower speed during scheduled self-tests to help reduce noise and fuel consumption.

Its weather-resistant aluminum enclosure features a protective powder-coated finish designed for outdoor installation. The generator is built for automatic standby operation and includes a five-year limited warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
