Generac 18kW Home Standby Generator 7259

The Generac 18kW Home Standby Generator (Model 7259) is designed to provide automatic backup power to your home during unexpected power outages. With an output of up to 18,000 watts on liquid propane and 17,000 watts on natural gas, this generator offers dependable backup power for many residential needs. Its automatic standby design works with a compatible transfer switch to restore power when an outage occurs and return the home to utility power when service is restored.

The generator features a Generac G-Force 800 engine, an aluminum weather-resistant enclosure, and electronic fuel and ignition controls designed to support efficient operation. Built-in cellular connectivity allows remote monitoring through Generac Mobile Link, including operating information and maintenance alerts. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities provide additional connectivity options.

Oil-level monitoring helps track engine readiness, while the sloped roof and rear air intake are designed to help reduce snow and ice intrusion. The unit is suitable for permanent outdoor installation in accordance with the manufacturer’s clearance requirements and local codes. Professional installation is recommended to ensure safe fuel connections, electrical integration, and correct transfer-switch operation.
