Description

The SCAG Liberty Z SZL-36H-18FR is a professionally constructed zero-turn riding mower designed to provide dependable performance and precise manoeuvrability for residential lawn care. It combines an 18 HP Kawasaki FR Series V-twin engine with a 36-inch Heavy-Duty Hero Cutter Deck, offering a practical cutting width for maintaining lawns where manoeuvrability and access are important.

The Kawasaki FR Series engine provides the power required for regular mowing, while the Hydro-Gear ZT-2800 transaxle delivers responsive zero-turn control. The mower can reach a forward ground speed of up to 7 mph and a reverse speed of up to 5 mph.

The 36-inch cutter deck is constructed from two steel plates with reinforcement around the cutter deck spindles. Its cutting height can be adjusted from 1.5 to 4.5 inches in 0.25-inch increments. A spring-assisted, foot-operated deck lift makes raising the cutter deck smooth and convenient.

The Liberty Z features aluminium spindle housings with sealed ball bearings and an Ogura GT1 electric blade engagement clutch with an adjustable air gap. A padded seat and straightforward hand-lever parking brake provide practical operation, while the compact dimensions make the mower well suited to areas requiring controlled manoeuvring.
